And after reading your post a bit more....perhaps just xcopy it over, make your changes and leave the old one in place hidden as your documentation until you know it all is working as you intended. I have to move a directory tree and change permissions to it and I want to ensure that I document all active permissions within this tree before I move it. Thanks!
