Hi - not withstanding James's response, is there any reason why you have to deal the name of the temporary topic, rather than the actual destination itself ?
No, there's not. I just wasn't sure if topics can be serialised. If even the topic names are connection specific (as in my previous post), I'm quite sure the objects themselves are also?
We pretty much do that (well, we pass the temporary queue in the Message.replyTo attribute) and it all works fine.
replyTo is a different beast, it works alright for us too. The problem is that I need it for different purposes.
