Finally got some time to get back to this project.
I setup the embedded broker without problem...i can see the messages queued
in the mysql database.
i added the following xml to the embedded broker
<networkConnectors>
<networkConnector uri="static:(tcp://server-x:61636)"
failover="true"/>
</networkConnectors>
but i don't think they are being forwarded to server-x when it comes online
