I've noticed that the activemq instance is consuming a huge amount of memory
... it's only been running for about 3 hours and has only received about 20
messages sent to a single topic with a single subscriber.
Mem: 2075844k total, 1562568k used, 513276k free, 92444k buffers
Swap: 2650684k total, 1084k used, 2649600k free, 508812k cached
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
11647 activemq 22 0 978m 266m 7512 S 0.0 13.2 0:04.96 java
This is 4.0.1 with the default config ( just running as ./bin/activemq )
running under the ibm jdk on linux 2.6.
Is this normal?
