Openwire support in ActiveMQ cpp is under development now. We have been
fighting issues for awhile and are a bit behind, we expect that the next
release 2.0 will have Openwire Support.

For now the only one that I know has worked for some with Openwire
support is the Amazon client, and I heard there are some issues with
that one, but don't know what they are. Search in Nabble for more on
the Amazon client.
