There is a module called file::find that will search through the entire filesystem down-tree from a given starting point. It is a very powerful and flexible tool, based on the Unix "find" command, so it might be a little confusing at first glance. -- Matt -----Original Message----- From: Oeschey, Lars [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, October 09, 2000 6:14 AM To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Subject: reading directory structure Hi, we want to "abuse" a directory structure for other things, therefor we need to read recursively a directory structure in some kind of table. Is there a module already for this, or do we have to stick to "ls" (i.e. "dir") ?
