Hello I shut down perl by typing exit at the prompt I shut down Apache by going to the program menu select Apache; Management; Shut down Apache. Just a suggestion. Thanks; Ken Fair [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ray King" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, January 14, 2001 5:26 PM Subject: Exiting Perl When Running Apache Locally When I test scripts locally in the browser running Apache Web Server and Active Perl, I have problems exiting Perl and when I shutdown the computer it tells me that Perl is running and should be closed before shutdown can be completed. So far the only way I can shut down is CTRL ALT DEL, but there must be a better way. When I start, I run Apache which opens in a DOS window. I can close Apache OK. Any advice ? I am running win98.
