Well, I thought I would subscribe to ASPN: here's what I got. ========================================== Subscription Level Windows users: With your subscription, you received licenses for certain products. Click on get license link and you will be sent an email containing a URL where you can get your license installer. Linux and Solaris users: You don't need a license installer. You are subscribed to: ASPN Open Edition get license installer: <http://www.ActiveState.com/cgibin/ASPN/token.plex?serial=########> (Windows) =========================================== This is starting to feel... uh, very uncomfortable. I have four systems here, at my home *lab*; at work, two (myself) and others on secured networks. Will I have to have a license on each machine to run/install Active State software now; next week; next year?? Komodo is interesting, but I don't even want to use it at this point. I firmly believe in supporting companies like Active State, they deserve our support. If they published Perl & Python development books I'd buy them. I've purchased books by Roth, Bunce, Guido etc. in support of their efforts in the open source community. If they would arrange discount links to Fatbrain or similar companies from Active State I'd support that too (as long as there was no flashing gifs). but, I'm concerned. Anyway enough whining, snooz time. clp _______________________________________________ ActivePerl mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/listinfo/activeperl
