make sure the perl bin directory is in your PATH (type SET at the command
prompt to find out)
perldoc.bat should be located in the perl bin directory eg.
c:\perl\bin\perldoc.bat

Subject: A problem with "perldoc"

I use a PC with Win98 SE and ActivePerl 5.6.1 Build 630 for my Perl
development work. Whenever I try to run a perldoc query I see a slight
pause followed by "Bad command or file name." What have I failed to install
or configure? How do I fix it?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Marc
