ok boys,
thanx a lot. Now my short description about a perl deamon i thing of while i
read your process tasks in this list:

we all have a win box whith many tasks on it, maybe a telnet, ssh or web
server ! many of us have a lot of log files running to get a indruducion
detection ( by hand and after it happend ), but what is about this:
if a process, like telnet is running a few days we can calculate a range of
process whight by normal use. if this whight explose by abnormal, we can
automaticly close it or do somthing else...

what do you thing about it ?

there are several methods to "kill" a process on a "win32 box"

        1. Taskmanager
        2. The KILL.EXE Command from the NT Rescource Kit
        3. If you have created a Process via Win32::Process then you
can delete it with the method Kill().

It is upto you how to kill a process on a Windows Computer.

bye
chris
