When installing Activestate Perl on a Windows 2000
server with a C: and D: partition, I noticed the install program defaulted to
the D: partition. This server's partitions are the typical setup of C: for
system and programs, and D: for data and inetpub web folders. Anyone know
why Perl wanted to install itself on the data partition? Seems to me that
security would be better by keeping the compiler separated from the
partition were the webs reside...
