Windows does not run the RSH (remote shell ) service by default. You need to ensure
that the service is started. As well, check that port 514 (shell 514/tcp # BSD
rshd(8)) is not blocked by firewalls or routers.

Subject: RSH problem

Hi,

When I try to do a rsh from a windows machine to windows
machine i m getting a error
IP: connection refused
rsh: can't establish connection.

Is there any services that had to be run in windows for rsh
to work?

Thanks
Prakash
