hi,

i have a huge problem. I do a linux patch and install a new one to a
second hd.
my installscripts are in perl. But when i first step into the sytsem ( using
chroot ) there is no perl installed .... ( of course )

know i have two choices:
first coping the base binarys to the target system and run these scripts,
or second, installing perl befor i step in. BUT HOW ?

If its possible, please give ne a hint how to install perl from the source
onto a blanc system ( dirs are set in the next step also ) or tell me how i
can copy a basic perl ( tiniperl ) in my new linux.
do i only need the /usr/bin/perl or do i need anything alse.

THANX VERY MUCH IN ADVANCED. It is so late and i am getting very
angry about all these make, make install LDFLAGS things. I also
overrided my source system a few hours ago - so i re-installed it and (
belive me ) i do not want to do it again !!!

I saw in the LFS-Book, that perl needed to much to install at the
biginning ( of course if i think about it ). REMEMBER: i do not have
anything in the target, / just in /static and a bash loaded.

TIA
Kris
