Are you suggesting that there is a required format for posting to this list? Where would that FAQ be located? I somehow missed it. My email is set up to top-post as that is the tribal custom at my company.
Actually there was (and probably still is somewhere). It basically stated that you should remove all text that is irrelevant (sigs, meaningless drivel) and intersperse your replies immediately after the terxt that they are referring to. There's more than that (like no HTML/attachments, etc), but if you do this much, you'll be close.
Top-posting is poor etiquette and practiced by much of the Bill Gates OS systems generation. You'll find few top-posters from the UNIX generation.
