Hi all, I'm strictly a newbie to PERL - been running Linux for years and never had the chance / opportunity to do much with PERL until now.
One of the things I do is manage part of a network for a University in Australia - one of our guys needs to be able to check the event logs on our (currently) mIcrosoft proxy servers each day - preferably pull all three logs down to a central MySQL database and do analysis on them, but I'd settle for just being able to report the "error" conditions. Am I making sense ?> I hope so. So, is there currently a package or suite of packages that will do what I want ? O)r somewhere where I can at least get a foothold ? Thanks....
