Using a script editor on my Windows XP machine, I am trying to edit a Perl script that lives on an iMac running Mac OS X BSD/Darwin. I have an account on the iMac.
I have installed ActivePerl 5.8.0, build 806, on my Windows XP machine and it works beautifully. The Perl on the iMac is 5.8.1-RC3. Using Windows Explorer, I am able to navigate through the network to the iMac, find my directory, and open the script in PrimalScript. When I try to compile the script and check it for errors, I am told the compiler has found an undefined dependency. That value turns out just fine, however, if I log into the iMac and check the script using PICO. I thought I could log into the iMac from my Windows XP machine, and using the script editor on my machine, edit the script in its Mac OS X environment, using the Perl libraries on the iMac. Any suggestions would be appreciated. -- Craig _______________________________________________ ActivePerl mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe: http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/mysubs
