I have given up on making it work. It may be due to the fact that our domain is now AD Server 2003. I am using OLE and ADSI now and that seems to work.
Thanks - yes, the error seems pretty vague. jj John Thayer Jensen, System Administrator Computing Services Unit, School of Business University of Auckland +64 9 373-7599 ext 87543 +64 21 049-7702 (mobile) - QuickDial 60001 +64 9 373-7696 (FAX) http://staff.business.auckland.ac.nz/~j.jensen -----Original Message----- From: Ken Cornetet [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, 19 December 2003 07:27 To: Activeperl Subject: RE: Win32::NetAdmin Overlapped I/O operation is in progress I seem to see this error a lot when dealing with Win32 stuff. I think this error should be interpreted as windows saying: "Something went wrong, but I'm just not going to tell you what it was. Go away or I shall taunt you a second time!" -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jensen, John T Sent: Tuesday, December 16, 2003 4:27 PM To: Activeperl Subject: Win32::NetAdmin Overlapped I/O operation is in progress I get this error message "Overlapped I/O operation is in progress" when trying to run Win32::NetAdmin::UserGetAttributes. Running it on an XP Pro machine, querying a Server 2003 domain. There are queries from others on the web about it, but no answers. I would appreciate some light on it! jj John Thayer Jensen, System Administrator Computing Services Unit, School of Business University of Auckland +64 9 373-7599 ext 87543 +64 21 049-7702 (mobile) - QuickDial 60001 +64 9 373-7696 (FAX) http://staff.business.auckland.ac.nz/~j.jensen _______________________________________________ ActivePerl mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe: http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/mysubs _______________________________________________ ActivePerl mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe: http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/mysubs _______________________________________________ ActivePerl mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe: http://listserv.ActiveState.com/mailman/mysubs
