are you using eval to check you insert statements
and do you have a log set up to tell you what's going on line by
line?

Hi All,
I am in the
process of moving a web based windows system written in perl from a windows
2000 server machine to a windows 2003 server machine, SQL server is used as
the back end database, most of the perl files select data from and
update the database, the problem i have is that when i migrate to the
windows 2003 server machine, install SQL server, set all the required
connections, only the Select statement works, the updates do not work
though it seems as if everything is going smoothly there is no entry in the
database . I am using IIS 5.0 on the windows 2000 server and IIS 6.0 on the
windows 2003 server machine.
I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out.
