$Bill, 1) True. Most of the time, I prefer binary mode, which is safest.
2) I am not get the LF to CRLF translation. Yes, I am downloading from Unix to Windoze. 3) I tried the cmdline ftp and ascii mode. This gives me the proper LF to CRLF translation. Are you downloading from UNIX to Windoze ?
