Here is something about ANSI commands

In both platform you only simple print the ANSI sequence like this
print chr(27),'[10;20H';

But in Windows you must activate ANSI.SYS first.  How to do it is here:

and in Windows 9x/Me you must add
device=c:\windows\command\ansi.sys
to config.sys
