You would need to install

1)     XML Parser, to check validity of your XML document (e.g XML-Spy or Stylus studio, you can download evaluation versions and purchase either of the products)

2)     IE 5.00 or higher version, to check the appearance of document as per stylesheet (I am NOT sure about other browsers but I recommend IE because I use it)

3)     You can use Perl to process XML documents, it is NOT mandatory to use Perl. However it is always helpful.

These are just the basic tools, there are lot of tools available depending on your specific requirements.

Subject: XML

hi list,

I have a few questions.

1. (a kind of off-topic) if I would like to learn XML, do I need to install something? Like perl, I have to have perl in my server. What about XML?

2. And then, what XML::Simple module for?
