with them. considering what i've seen here, Brian Raven and Bill Luebkert
are both much better and also explain VERY well. I would say that due to
their experience, it's probably best for me to bow out of helping and
learn from their posts now. maybe one of them can answer this since I am
unsure of the answer.
Thank you nevertheless for your help. I am also self-taught in regexps,
but mostly by experience, looking at other's work, trial and error, and
of course, the Camel book and Perl Cookbook. (Perhaps its time I make
some time to check out the Mastering Regular Expressions book.) I
surely appreciate your input, and await with hope that someone else can
offer more information.
