I can be done using the win32::process modem.  I believe its only a “suggestion” to the OS to run at a lower priority. 

 

Have a look at the win32::process module for more information, but I believe this is what you are looking for.

Newbie question time again... I've been asked to set up a Perl script to run at "lower priority" on Windows workstations. Can this be done? How?
