Did you have a look at the HTML::Prototype module on CPAN yet? It contains
a lot of useful routines to handle interaction with the client by using
some AJAX-based routines.

hi,
my apologies if this is not the correct forum for this question, or if
it should be common knowledge for a perl developer.
how can I code a perl script to send an html page to the user, then send
another html stream subsequently, during the same connection. for
example, send a page saying "processing . . . please wait" with perhaps
a progress GIF, then when the process is actually done send a completely
new page with the results.
