Hi Gisle, Thank you for your help -- I will run the job.
I should be clear -- In the past, ppm has worked just fine with the documentation. When I ran it this time, I got a note saying that perltoc.htm could not be updated. I then checked and saw that it was missing. I cannot say for sure that ppm actually destroyed it, or that something else I did unrelated to ppm made it disappear. I will try again, reinstall the module and see if perltoc.htm is actually destroyed by ppm. At this point, I doubt that it does, since all my other ppm-downloaded modules have worked just fine. If it does, I will file a bug report. Thanks again, matt -----Original Message----- From: Gisle Aas [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, May 23, 2007 1:26 AM To: Pettis, Matthew (Thomson) Cc: activeperl@listserv.ActiveState.com Subject: Re: Perltoc.htm file is missing On May 22, 2007, at 22:08, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Upon trying to add a module via PPM, I discovered that my perltoc.htm > file is missing. Does the perltoc.html file really disappear when you install modules with ppm? If so, we would certainly like to figure out what's happening. Can you share any more information, or file a bug report?
