Hi, I've worked with the parrot people and we've (mostly they) found and fixed the problem.
When calling a CGI script without any POST data IIS doesn't allow STDIN to be opened. Parrot was trying to open STDIN then crashing before it got anywhere near opening and printing to STDOUT. This has now be remedied and should be fixed in future versions of parrot. Now I can finally get on with my Perl 6 CGI scripting guides ;) Thanks everyone for your suggestions and input.
