I am running Active State Perl 5.10.1 on a Windows Server 2008 64 bit platform.
I need to install a module in the Winnipeg repository for Perl 5.10 (Net:FTPSSL). However when I add the Winnipeg repository to PPM's repository list, the number of packages available from it is listed as zero. (At least I assume that's what the "# Pkgs" column means in the PPRM Preferences/Repositories tab). The status messages indicate that the Winnipeg packlist is downloaded OK. I even tried downloading the XML package list from the Winnipeg site and pointing PPM at the local copy of it. Still the number of packages comes up as zero. Can anybody suggest what I am doing wrong? Should I be trying to use a 64 bit specific repository?
