The calc.htm scripting sample works under IE. The mouse track and foo2
sample both open but with errors on the page. I have also restarted the
machine since registering.

... but this should certainly fix it. Have you tried restarting the machine
since registering it manually?
Can you try and open the win32comext\axscript\demo\client\ie files in IE,
and see if scripting works there?
