I had the same problem as Kent and posted on the issue a short while ago. I
ran the pyscript.py and it reported successful registration.

However, I still get the same error 500 message. Python works fine under IE,
but will not run under IIS.

Interestingly, I've tried it on two W2K workstations and neither worked. If
someone resolves this, please post to the list.

The current ActivePython works with ASP. It does not automatically
register Python as an ASP server. You can do that by running the program
win32comext\axscript\client\pyscript.py. You may also want to check out
