For this problem, try reinstalling that version of ActivePython on top
of itself. After this, try running the uninstaller again. The
reinstall should replace whatever program or file is missing as well
as fix any problems with the ActivePython entries in the registry that
might be causing the error.

For this one, if you are getting a command prompt screen for a split
second that is closing, try running the installer from a DOS window.
This should keep the command prompt open after the installer terminates
so you should be able to see what, if any, error messages it is
generating.
