Because export restrictions do not let us distribute a product with
crypto capabilities without a number of painful administrative procedures,
some of which must be done _per user/customer_. We are looking at things
we can do so that ActivePython can be distributed by default with SSL
support built in. Admittedly though, that won't be a quick process so it
might be a while before we can do that.
