Hi, i've got performance serious issues using a simple activescaffold: models: unit (real estate units, 90 db columns but 10 listed with active scaffold ) HABTM features feature (features with id, code, family and description) HABTM features
in the controller .../units i show correctly activescaffold with my 10 columns (of the model unit) on the list, somthing like config.columns = [listing_id, location, description etc etc] BUT when i try to add the features column to the list (hoping to let the user edit them inline in a sub list) config.columns = [listing_id, location, description, features etc etc] the page renders sooooo slowly... i can say that it doesn't almost render i've got 70000 units and each of them has 20 features circa... it seems that even on the simple list (index action) even if i list only 20/40 units per page acivescaffold tries to load or calculate all the related features entities of all the 70000 units, even if not displayed; it remembers the behaviour of a virtual column with some calculations... please someone can help me with this problem ? Thanks, Antonio. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ActiveScaffold : Ruby on Rails plugin" group.
