First off I'd like to thank everyone who has been involved in AS and those who have helped with the list filter plugin.
In the last couple of weeks I've had a fair number of e-mails about people using or needing help or adding interesting filters to the Active Scaffold List Filter plugin. I wish I had time to manage and look after the project as I feel it has a fair bit of potential for some really neat ways to easily filter table data, unfortunately time is hard to come by. I do have a fair bit of code in my own repository that got out of sync. It is still based off an old version of AS, and needs some TLC. This includes a much nicer user interface, better notification of what is being filtered, tweaks to save and load filters on a per user, per scaffold, per filter basis, a separate plugin to save table preferences on a per user, per scaffold basis such as which columns are displayed, the sort order, rows per page, etc. The functionality is pretty useful especially if you're developing applications for a corporate environment. I'd like the put the code out there for others to use, but again I don't really have the time to get it up to speed with the current AS and Rails.
