I have the same exact problem after doing the same exact thing. I'm FORCED to upgrade to Rails 2.2.2 immediately because Dreamhost DELETED the Rails 2.0.2 gems when they upgraded, so I woke up this morning to a bunch of dead web sites and angry clients. (Yay, thanks Dreamhost!) Unfortunately the current Active Scaffold version seems to be incompatible with Rails 2.2.2. So I'm dead in the water with a bunch of broken web sites.
I went to all of the trouble of specifying the Rails 2.0.2 gems so that my sites would continue to run after Dreamhost upgraded Rails gems. But they pulled the rug out from under me anyway.
