Please help ig you can .I have followed the documentation word for
word and cant work out why I cant get AS to work. Heres my process on
Ubuntu Hardy Herron
My rails version is 2.2.2 I can build a project and use the default
scaffolding without any problems but I cant get AS to work.
This is my response for git

I assume everything is fine.(dont know much about git). I then add
this to my layout
<%= javascript_include_tag :defaults %>
<%= active_scaffold_includes %>
and this to my controller
active_scaffold :<your_model_name>
I generate a new table with generate scaffold XXX XX like I have
always done. I then remove all the views as per the FAQ. Restart my
server.
I get no errors restarting Mongrel but when I try and access a page I
get the following
Template is missing
Missing template corresponds/index.erb in view path /home/robby/
imagedb/imagedb/app/views:/home/robby/imagedb/imagedb/vendor/plugins/
active_scaffold/frontends/default/views:
Ok Duu! this is because I removed the view, but why has it not found
the views in AS
I am completely confused.
Any help as to what I am doing wrong..
