the issue is that when you have the nested scaffolds it looks at the Parent
helper for the over rides.
try this
BusinessItemHelper
def amount_form_column(record, input_name)
if(record.class == BusinessItemHelper
record.amount
else
input record, input_name, :value => record.amount
end
end
