I'm doing a redirect in the index of the controller:
def index
#clear the profile session
session[:profile] = nil
@profile = Profile.find(:all, :conditions => "ward_id = '#{session
[:ward_id]}'")
len = @profile.length
if len == 0
redirect_to :action => 'new'
else
#set the profile session
@pro = Profile.find(:first, :conditions => "ward_id = '#{session
[:ward_id]}'")
session[:profile] = @pro.id
#we need to pre load the tables. We start with the income
table.
redirect_to :action => 'edit', :id => session[:profile]
end
end
Would this make a difference? (Someone else wrote this code and I'm
trying to navigate my way through it, btw)
