Rails 2.1
AS 2.1

Here is the respond_to block from lib/active_scaffold/actions/list.rb:

respond_to do |type|
        type.html {render :action => 'list', :layout => true}
        type.js { render :action => 'list', :layout => false }
        type.xml { render :xml => response_object.to_xml, :content_type
=> Mime::XML, :status => response_status }
        type.json { render :text => response_object.to_json,
:content_type => Mime::JSON, :status => response_status }
        type.yaml { render :text => response_object.to_yaml,
:content_type => Mime::YAML, :status => response_status }
end

If I request an AS resource, via a request like: '/medical_facilities',
the configuration that I've set for "config.list.per_page = 30" is honored.

However, if I request '/medical_facilities.html', then the pagination is
not occurring, and the controller is sitting there rendering all 5000 of
my objects.

Why aren't the '/medical_facilties' (params[:format] == nil) and
'/medical_facilities.html' (params[:format] == 'html') be rendered the
same way?

I am under the assumption that presenting a request without a format
extension is equivalent to presenting one with an html extension? Is
this not true?

Thanks,
Wes
