I've got an embedded scaffold that is being used on a page rendered on a disparate page (just like the example where you want to show a team roster on your home page) but clicking the headers to sort doesn't work.
I compared to urls that are called when clicking the headers in the "main" scaffold, vs. when I embed the scaffold. It seems the embedded scaffold is passing a "eid" parameter that causes the call to fail (this "eid" parameter is not present in the calls from the "main scaffold"). I've search google and this group to no avail. I've carefully read the tutorial on embedded scaffolds but it mentions nothing special about sorting using the headers. I assume it is suppose to work since when you render an embedded scaffold the headers are clickable (as if they are going to sort). Anyone have any insight into this? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ActiveScaffold : Ruby on Rails plugin" group.
