Hi all,

I've forked the active_scaffold_sortable plugin and I made some changes
which increased the speed in ~ 1000+ times.

You can see the fork here:
http://github.com/sobrinho/active_scaffold_sortable

This fork is updated to latest AS/Rails version.

The original time to reorder my 17 records using SQLite 3 was ~ 1.4
seconds. After I made the change, this time was reduced to ~ 130ms.
Considerably, not?

This reduced time is coming from a transaction. You can see the
transaction "patch" here:
http://github.com/sobrinho/active_scaffold_sortable/blob/master/lib/active_scaffold_sortable/actions/sortable.rb#L37-41

Thanks for all suggestions.
