I've been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out what
I'm doing wrong here. I'm new to web programming, I've been using
Rails for about 10 months now, and just started trying to use
ActiveScaffold, so forgive my technical shortcomings, please. :)
AS works in my project if there are no associations in my models. But
after creating one simple :belongs_to/:has_many association, I'm
getting a 500 error when clicking "Create New" or "Edit." The
development log shows the error as being a template error:
"ActionView::TemplateError (interpolation argument model missing in
"Create Another {{model}}") on line #22 of vendor/plugins/
active_scaffold/frontends/default/views/
_form_association_footer.html.erb"
-using Rails 2.3.2 on Windows
-installed AS from the rails-2.3 branch at Github, and installed the
render_component plugin as well, per the AS Getting Started
instructions.
My routes.rb and controllers are obviously set up correctly, or AS
wouldn't be working when there are no associations.
My User model looks like this:
class User < ActiveRecord::Base
belongs_to :studio
end
My Studio model looks like this:
class Studio < ActiveRecord::Base
has_many :users
end
Can anyone see what the problem is here? Thanks.
