Are you using i18n gem? rails-2.3.9 has deprecation warnings about
interpolation syntax but I think it doesn't raise an exception, although I
haven't tried it. I have updated interpolation syntax on master branch, if you
need it, install master branch instead of rails-2.3, you will need to update
your helper overrides
