Thank you. I can now delete and update but there does seem to be an 
interesting problem. When updating, the fields with validation will appear 
in red and must have a value set before the Batch Update button will work. 
If you leave the select option for the field as No Update, the field will 
not get updated (which is a good thing) but it is still a hinderance to 
force the user to input a value when the value should not be changed.
