What are the security settings for the client browser? Bet that's the
problem, if they are "high", it'll disable macros.

Subject: Excel Macro in IE

Scenario:-

We are trying to open Excel reports from IE and the excel reports have
macros built in them through VBA code.

An error occurs while excel is trying to run some of the macros (for
example, cell validations) telling -- macro "http:......" <macro name> not
found.

But if the excel file is saved to local disk, macro runs fine.

Why is the macro failing to run when excel is embedded in IE ?

Also, this works well in Netscape with no errors.

Any clues ??
Thanks
Priya
