sorry for the OT, can anyone offer me some advice on my machine ? I re-installed access 2.0. tried to run it, got a message saying can't run the file. Rebooted, and now my Windows 2000 machine allows me to log onto the network and then just sits there.
I guess it's not running explorer, so I try to run it from the task manager but nothing happens, it doesn't even go into the list of processes. So all I've got is the desktop backdrop, no icons, no taskbar. It's not profile related as I've tried logging on locally as other people, also with and without a network connection. I've tried "last known good" as well. I'm stuck now.
