Math genius...I don't know about that :-)

One of the most widely used "deltas" is your speedometer in your auto.  Rate
of change of velocity / rate of change of acceleration (Note: velocity and
acceleration are TOTALLY different).  All based on The Calculus (thanks to
Sir Isaac Newton and a number of other brilliant mathematicians).
