The solution you suggest needs a separate machine to act as a server.
The situation I am in is standalone PCs with no connection/network among
them
every one of them having a standalone indexing/query system, acting
independently.
Most of them have Win 98/Me OS.
So I think there is no solution through ASP. If anyone has another list
address to get
advice would be welcome...
