Hi All,

I have a question regarding this... if you have text which is a single word
(i.e, no spaces) then it will not wrap. What I usualy do in cases like this
is manualy count how many capital W (The widest width character I think)
that will fit in the column and restrict the length of text displayed to
that. Not the best solution.

Does anyone know of a formula to calculate the pixel width of a word?

Dan

create a 1 pixel by 1 pixel gif image and set the html to the width and
height that you need to line everything up with use the same color as your
background or whatever color best suits it.

So I have to put a piece of wood on my web pages?

Or maybe I have to use a transparent gif to sort it?

Cheers,
Nick
