You cannot download IIS 5.0 for Windows XP *Home*. One of the (numerous) limitations of XP Home is that it does not support IIS without going through the hack Deb found (and it's not one I'd really recommend). If you're truly serious of setting up a development box with IIS, upgrade your machine to Windows XP Professional.

I could just skip the asp and go to asp.net, I have the matrix and .net framework installed on the computer. However, this book wasn't cheap, and I'd really like to get through it.
