Check with your service provider for your cell phone, they usually offer text messaging, and an email address (which is your area-code & phone number @ provider.com) that you can send a message to and it will be forwarded to your pager/cell phone. We use this in our office for our tech staff. Messages usually arrive around 30 seconds after being sent.
